    Description

    Hospice Volunteer

    Determine your own time commitment. Non-medical volunteers may provide some of the following services:

    1. Office/Administrative tasks
    2. Friendly social visits
    3. Writing letters
    4. Reading to patients
    5. Pet therapy (must have certified pet)
    6. Companionship
    7. Sitting vigil at bedside
    8. Patient caregiver relief
    9. Emotional and spiritual support
    10. Assist with bereavement support
    11. Massage therapy
    12. Music therapy
    13. Light housekeeping in patient homes
