Become a Citizens on Patrol (COPS) Volunteer in Our Community!
Help us enhance the safety and security of our private community! As a COPS volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Security Department, ensuring a secure and pleasant environment for all residents.
Responsibilities:
- Community Patrols: Regularly patrol our neighborhood, acting as an extra set of eyes to keep an eye on things.
- Event Support: Assist during special community events to allow our security personnel to focus on immediate needs.
- Visibility: Provide a reassuring presence that helps deter potential issues and promotes a sense of security.
Qualifications:
- Driving Ability: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Radio Use: Comfort with using a radio for communication.
- Observation Skills: Ability to recognize and report any rule violations or suspicious activities.
- Commitment: Minimum of 4 hours of service per month.
Training:
- Orientation Ride-Along: Start with a practical ride-along to get familiar with your role.
- Ongoing Learning: Participate in periodic meetings for updates and additional training to stay informed and effective.
