    Description

    • This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
    • The Website Developer / Webmaster Developer is expected to contribute at least 5 hours per week and respond to emails within 36 hours.

    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Website Developer / Webmaster Developer is responsible for supporting the migration of STW™’s website from Bluehost → WordPress → Webflow, ensuring that all content (including blogs, articles, and media) is properly backed up and transferred without loss. The incumbent will implement best practices in website migration, safeguard data integrity, and support ongoing maintenance of the Webflow CMS and hosting environment.

    The Website Developer / Webmaster Developer will collaborate with the UX/UI Designer and other team members to ensure a smooth transition to Webflow and provide long-term technical support for the nonprofit’s website infrastructure. This role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage backups and ensure preservation of all blog and article content.
    • Support the WordPress backend including plugins, exports, and troubleshooting.
    • Migrate and configure content within Webflow hosting + CMS.
    • Provide ongoing Webflow support following migration.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transition and consistent website performance.
    • Attend virtual meetings in the EST timezone (GMT -4:00) and respond to communications within required timelines.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support STW’s technology infrastructure.
    • This role involves short-term migration support and long-term ongoing Webflow maintenance.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in WordPress migration and backup processes.
    • Familiarity with Webflow CMS setup, hosting, and maintenance.
    • General web development experience, including troubleshooting and content management.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively, self-motivate, and meet deadlines in a remote environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual team environment.
