    Description

    We are seeking a motivated and creative Volunteer Social Media & Digital Engagement Lead to help grow our online presence and translate complex research and policy issues into accessible, compelling content. This volunteer will play a key role in shaping how our work reaches parents, educators, researchers, funders, and policymakers.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in social impact, technology ethics, child development, or nonprofit communications to build a visible portfolio while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with developing launch for Childhood and AI Fellowship program
    • Develop and manage a consistent social media presence across platforms for the Childhood and AI Lab Fellowship.(e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and others as appropriate).
    • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, graphics, short videos, and campaign materials.
    • Translate research findings, reports, and policy positions into clear, accessible social content.
    • Support major announcements, campaigns, events, and publications with coordinated social media efforts.
    • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages as appropriate, and help build an online community.
    • Collaborate with leadership and communications volunteers to align messaging and tone.
    • Track basic performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
