    Description

Become a Mentor-Advocate for Youth of Color -- YMCA Inspiring Futures

The YMCA Mentoring Program seeks adult volunteers throughout Montgomery County, Maryland, to be positive role models for youth. With just 4-8 hours per month, you can change the odds and make a difference in the life of a child. Volunteers meet with their mentees on a regular basis and engage in activities throughout the community that foster social, educational, and emotional growth. For more information, or to sign up for an orientation session, please contact Tyisha Forbes at tyisha.forbes@ymcadc.org or Miguel Pena at miguel.pena@ymcadc.org.
