    Description

    Facebook Group Leads

    Time Commitment: 1–2 hours per day

    Location: Remote / Facebook-based

    The Facebook Group Leads plays a key role in guiding and supporting our We Are Artistic community on Facebook. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-centered, and passionate about fostering safe, positive online spaces for young creatives. You’ll oversee day-to-day group activity, mentor the admin/mod team, and ensure the group remains welcoming, inclusive, and aligned with our youth-led mission.

    ✨ Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise, mentor, and support the Facebook admin and moderation team
    • Select, interview, and onboard new moderators and admins
    • Oversee daily group activity to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment
    • Address member concerns with clarity, empathy, and fairness
    • Coordinate regular check-ins with the mod/admin team and offer constructive, encouraging feedback
    • Uphold and model community guidelines, healthy communication, and youth-centered values
    • Collaborate with organizational leadership to ensure the group reflects We Are Artistic’s mission and culture

    🎨 Qualifications

    • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
    • Experience with Facebook group management, youth leadership, or online moderation
    • Ability to provide supportive, clear, and emotionally intelligent mentorship
    • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and guiding others through them
    • Commitment to youth-centered, inclusive, and respectful community culture
    • Passion for creating safe, welcoming digital spaces for young people
