    Description

VITAS is looking for compassionate and skilled sewers to join our Memory Bear Program. In this unique and deeply rewarding role, you will use your sewing talents to provide comfort to families who have lost a loved one. Family members provide an article of clothing with special meaning—a favorite shirt, dress, or uniform—that belonged to their deceased loved one.

Your kind and skillful hands will then transform this material into a beautiful, lasting keepsake:

    • Sew memory bears from clothing provided by the families of hospice patients.
    • Follow provided patterns and guidelines to create high-quality, personalized bears.
    • Work at your own pace and on a flexible schedule, as this is a remote-friendly opportunity.

    VITAS provides:

    • All necessary supplies, including patterns, stuffing, and thread.
