    Description

    Crocheting/Knitting/Sewing Volunteers

North Memorial Health - Robbinsdale Hospital has an opportunity for crocheters, knitters, and sewers to volunteer with us by making and donating lap blankets/quilts and prayers shawls. North Memorial volunteers make a difference by sharing care and compassion to help brighten a patient’s day and support their overall hospital experience. Spiritual Care Chaplains bless patients with prayer shawls through requested visits. Lap blankets/quilts are given to patients who are in need of comfort, support, or warmth:

    • Blankets are a reminder that patients are not alone, and a reminder of community support.
    • Patients often need quilts or lap blankets when they are discharged and do not have weather appropriate clothing or outerwear.

Whether you are an individual or a group coordinator, we would love to connect with you!
