    EduAid-Africa Webinars & Expo — Remote Volunteer Roles (Multiple)

    Organization: Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF) — NESA-Africa / EduAid-Africa

    Location: Remote (Africa/Lagos time preferred)

    Optional in-person support (Lagos, Nigeria) for select roles.

    Volunteer Opportunity / Unpaid

    Yes — expenses not covered. Certificates and skills training provided.

    Time Commitment & Dates

    • Start: 7 October 2025
    • End: 28 February 2026 (with optional 2026–2027 continuation tracks)
    • Hours: 2–5 hours/week typical; some roles are event-day only (90–120 minutes)

    About the Program

    EduAid-Africa runs a weekly webinar series (9 episodes) and a virtual Expo to convert ideas into scholarships, safer schools, teacher upskilling, and employability pathways across Africa. We also support Teachers’ Training (monthly clinics) and “My Career, My Life” Guidance & Counseling (G&C) for secondary school students in every African country. All activities align to SDG 4 and AU Agenda 2063.

    Open Volunteer Roles (apply for 1–2)

    On-Air & Content

    • Anchor/Co-Host (rotate; energetic presenters from different regions)
    • Speaker Liaison (collect bios/headshots/slides; run H-60 tech checks)
    • Panel Structuring (confirm 6–10 panelists; prep 3 concise prompts)
    • Research Note Writer (2-page brief after each webinar; sources)
    • Policy Options Box Editor (1-page, low/medium/high budget actions)

    Production & Accessibility

    • Green-Room Producer (mic/cam checks; name slates; timing)
    • Technical/Streaming Operator (Zoom/StreamYard + Restream; record; overlays)
    • Captions & Subtitles QA (tidy auto-captions; export SRT/VTT)
    • Interpretation Support (EN⇄FR/AR/SW/PT channel coordination)

    Community & Growth

    • Social Media Live Desk (threads, pin links, moderate comments)
    • Graphic Designer (Canva/Figma; hero + 3 tiles + end card per episode)
    • Ambassador (Country/Chapter) (watch-parties, school outreach, local-language posts)
    • Pledge & MoU Recorder (log commitments live; assign follow-ups)
    • Data & Analytics (registrations, attendance, replay, UTM hygiene)
    • Donor & Sponsor Care (thank-yous, receipts, follow-up scheduling)

    We also welcome Teachers’ Training Clinic Assistants and G&C School Liaisons (secondary schools) for 2026–2027.

    What You’ll Do (typical tasks)

    • Join a 30–45 min rehearsal (Mon) and Green-Room (H-60)
    • Support a 75-min live webinar (Tue) or the 2h30m Expo
    • Produce or tidy captions, graphics, clips, and show notes
    • Capture pledges/leads and route them to follow-up
    • Help deliver a 2-page Research Note + 1-page Policy Box within 24 hours

    What You’ll Need

    • Reliable internet, camera, and headset mic
    • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides)
    • For Tech roles: basic Zoom/Restream; we train on overlays/timers
    • Writing roles: clear, concise English; French/Arabic/Swahili/Portuguese a plus
    • Commitment to neutral, child-safe content and deadline reliability

    • Role clinics (Tech & Green-Room; Research & Policy; Pledge/Donor Care; Social/Media)
    • Templates: run-sheet, cue cards, graphics, caption guides
