As we start our upcoming Mentoring Cycle, we are seeking mentors based in the Central (CST) or Mountain (MST) time zones to support our mentees. While our students are distributed across time zones, having mentors in CST/MST helps ensure overlapping hours for live calls, chats, and timely support.
Many of our mentees come from low- to moderate-income communities, including veterans and military-connected individuals transitioning into tech and other professional careers. By volunteering as a mentor, you can make a real difference–even with a commitment of 30 minutes a week.
This is a great chance to guide the next generation of professionals: share insights on workplace navigation, career goal setting, professional growth, confidence building, and leadership development. As part of the NPowerMATCH community, you’ll also gain networking and training opportunities year-round.

Why CST/MST Mentors?
We’re prioritizing mentors in Central or Mountain time zones to improve scheduling flexibility and maximize overlap with mentees across different U.S. time zones. This increases the chances for real-time connection, live video chats, and meaningful engagement.
