Description
Volunteering with Compassus Hospice is a meaningful way to bring comfort and companionship to patients and families. We’ll work with you to match opportunities to your interests - from patient visits and caregiver support to helping behind the scenes in the office or with the care team.
All volunteers receive free training to prepare you for this role. Orientation covers the goals and philosophy of hospice, communication skills, confidentiality, and the many ways you can support patients and families.
No medical background is required - just compassion, reliability, and respect for others. Even a few hours a month can make a lasting difference at life’s most tender moments.
