Serenity Hospice is looking for volunteers in Marion, Polk, Benton and Linn counties to serve patients and families of the terminally ill. Working as a hospice volunteer is similar to helping a family in need. The only qualification required is your desire to help those in your community- all training will be provided.
Volunteer your time and talent as a companion for a patient, as an end of life vigil support, office assistant, veteran companion and more. Do you play an instrument, have a special artistic talent, or like to read aloud? We've got a perfect place for you! Our volunteers do a variety of tasks and there is something for everyone. There are even helpful projects you can do from the comfort of your own home.
Volunteer on your own, with a friend, or with your family for an amazing and life changing experience.
For more details about our upcoming training and application process, or more insight on what it is like to work in hospice, please respond to this posting, or visit our website https://serenityhospice.org/volunteer/ for more information.
