Tabula Rasa Domestic Violence, Inc. is seeking a reliable, creative, and mission-driven Administrative & Marketing Volunteer to support day-to-day operations and help expand our community reach. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and content creation—and wants their skills to directly support survivors of domestic violence through education, resources, and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation
- Organize digital files (Google Drive/SharePoint) and maintain document templates
- Assist with volunteer coordination and support event logistics (volunteer lists, supply tracking, sign-in sheets, follow-ups)
- Support communication between departments (Operations, HR, etc.)
- Help draft and format letters, flyers, announcements, and internal documents
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Support data entry and list management (contacts, partners, volunteers, donors)
Marketing & Outreach Support
- Create and schedule social media content (graphics, captions, reels/story prompts)
- Help promote programs and events (awareness campaigns, community events)
- Assist with email marketing (newsletters, announcements, outreach messages)
- Support brand consistency using TabulaRasaDV colors, language, and trauma-informed tone
- Help track engagement metrics (post performance, email open rates, basic reporting)
Projects You May Work On
- Program/event promotional flyers and social media campaigns
- Community partner outreach lists and follow-up scripts
- Monthly content calendar creation
- Volunteer recruitment posts and onboarding communications
- Basic website updates or resource-page support (if applicable)
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills (professional + community-friendly tone)
- Organized and dependable; able to manage tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable with Microsoft Teams Workspace (Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Familiarity with Canva (or willingness to learn)
- Social media confidence (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with trauma-informed sensitivity
Bonus: Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp), CRM systems, or content planning platforms.
Time Commitment
- 5 – 10hours per week | flexible scheduling
- Opportunities for additional hours during campaigns and events
- In-person support may be available for select events (optional, based on your location)
