Silver Spring Dog Adoption Show Set Up- A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue

Volunteer Opportunity: Dog Adoption Show Support (4th Saturdays)

A Home of Their Own is dedicated to rescuing as many dogs and cats as possible and placing them in loving forever homes. After adoption, we continue to provide education, training, outreach, and support to build a thriving community of happy pets and their people.

We’re currently seeking a volunteer to assist with dog adoption show setup and support on the 4th Saturday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at:

PetSmart - 12020 Cherry Hill Rd., Calverton/Silver Spring

Volunteer responsibilities include:

• Setting up the informational table (adoptable dog binder, treats, resources)
• Filling and refilling water bowls for the dogs
• Welcoming and assisting new volunteers at their first show
• Answering general questions about adoptable dogs
• Explaining our adoption process to potential adopters

All supplies and training will be provided.
