    Description

Help Inspire the Next Generation of Space Enthusiasts—Volunteer as an Academic Mentor

Community Resources’ Academic Mentors Project creates opportunities for high-achieving, ambitious 5th – 12th grade Denver Public School students who have a passion or interest in a particular topic to connect with community volunteers who share the same passion.

The program is currently recruiting a mentor with a passion for space and astronomy to work with a 7th grade student eager to learn more about the universe. Volunteers are asked to commit a total of six hours over the course of 3 to 6 meetings. All mentorships begin and end in the current school year.

For more information please visit Community Resources’ website www.communityresourcesinc.org or contact Laura Kent, Program Manager at laura_kent@dpsk12.org or 720-424-6554.
