    Description

    Overview: As a Program Manager for the Veterans Memorial and Support Foundation of Los Gatos, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all projects and initiatives undertaken by the Foundation. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all projects, ensuring smooth coordination, timely execution, and effective communication of project statuses to the Board of Directors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Project Management:
      • Oversee all projects and initiatives undertaken by the Foundation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
      • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
      • Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
      • Monitor project progressed and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
    2. Tracking System Development:
      • Design and implement a tracking system to monitor the status and progress of all projects within the organization.
      • Establish clear metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and effectiveness.
      • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the tracking system, regularly updating project statuses and milestones.
    3. Board Communication:
      • Prepare regular status updates and reports on project progress for presentation to the Board of Directors.
      • Communicate effectively with the Board, providing timely information on project achievements, challenges, and upcoming initiatives.
    4. Stakeholder Engagement:
      • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in project execution.
      • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams
      • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns, providing updates, and soliciting feedback as needed.
    5. Continuous Improvement
      • Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
      • Actively participate in organizational planning and strategy sessions to contribute insights and recommendations for future initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software
    • Knowledge of Veterans issues, programs, and services is a plus.
    • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
    • Evidence of US Citizenship
