Level 3 volunteers may have direct contact with SafeHomes clients and can perform activities both on and off SafeHomes campus. To volunteer at this level, individuals must first complete 19 hours of initial domestic violence training, followed by a 1-hour Volunteer Orientation. Additionally, volunteers are required to submit a volunteer application, undergo a Checkr background check, and sign a confidentiality form, release of responsibility, and the CJCC volunteer contract, which must be updated annually. Furthermore, Level 3 volunteers are responsible for submitting a CJCC volunteer timesheet every month to track their volunteer hours. All of these documents will be stored in the Volunteer Coordinator’s office for record-keeping.
