Zero Tolerance for Domestic Abuse is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. We bring education, awareness, and counseling services to survivors in Jefferson and Gilpin counties.
Position Overview
0T4DA is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Board Treasurer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting survivors and wants to apply their financial skills to a mission-driven cause. 2-4 hours (remote) per month.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Review and present monthly bank statement to the Board
- Ensure compliance with state and federal nonprofit financial requirements
- Collaborate with the organization's tax CPA to file annual tax forms (Form 990)
- Provide general financial leadership and guidance to the organization
Qualifications
- Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
- Nonprofit financial experience helpful but not required
- Strong sense of integrity, transparency, and accountability
- Comfortable communicating financial information to a board
- Commitment to the mission of supporting survivors of domestic abuse
