    About Us

    Zero Tolerance for Domestic Abuse is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. We bring education, awareness, and counseling services to survivors in Jefferson and Gilpin counties.

    Position Overview

    0T4DA is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Board Treasurer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting survivors and wants to apply their financial skills to a mission-driven cause. 2-4 hours (remote) per month.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
    • Review and present monthly bank statement to the Board
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal nonprofit financial requirements
    • Collaborate with the organization's tax CPA to file annual tax forms (Form 990)
    • Provide general financial leadership and guidance to the organization

    Qualifications

    • Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
    • Nonprofit financial experience helpful but not required
    • Strong sense of integrity, transparency, and accountability
    • Comfortable communicating financial information to a board
    • Commitment to the mission of supporting survivors of domestic abuse
