    Description

Want to help a child in foster care? Become a volunteer!

Find out what it means to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)

CASA Volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the safety and well-being of foster children.

As a CASA Volunteer, your role is to speak with everyone involved in the child’s case, including foster parents, biological parents, teachers, and many others to obtain a full-circle view of what is best for the child. Using all of the information you’ve gathered, the volunteer then prepares and submits a court report directly to the judge to advocate for what is in the best interest of that child.

For many children, their CASA Volunteer will be the only consistent adult presence in their lives while in foster care.

Training will be provided. Share your love and know that you have made a difference in a child's life.
