Ambassador Coordinator (Volunteer Leadership Role)
Role Overview
The Ambassador Coordinator is a leadership role within South Project Ambassador Program. In this role you will help to grow, organize, and support our Ambassador community by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, communication, and record-keeping.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young mothers.
Key Responsibilities
Ambassador Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment of new South Project Ambassadors
- Assist with onboarding and ensure membership information is collected
- Help distribute welcome kits and Ambassador resources
Ambassador Database Management
- Maintain and update the Ambassador database
- Track memberships, engagement, and participation
- Ensure contact information and records remain accurate
Communication & Engagement
- Assist with welcome messages and monthly Ambassador updates
- Share event and service opportunities with Ambassadors
- Help foster connection and consistency within the Ambassador community
Program & Event Support
- Support Ambassador involvement in programs such as:
- Annual Community Baby Shower
- SheRise Starter Packs
- Workshops and celebrations
- Assist with Ambassador recognition at events and online
Time Commitment
- 2–4 hours per month
- Flexible schedule, with additional support during major events if available
Ambassador Impact
Each $50 annual Ambassador membership directly supports:
- Baby essentials such as diapers and wipes
- Baby shower gifts and starter packs
- Workshop materials and meals
- Emergency support for young mothers
