    HR Assistant Manager (Volunteer)

    Job type: Part-time Volunteer

    Department: Human Resources

    Reports to: HR Manager

    Location: Hybrid, based in Houston, TX

    Schedule/Commitment: Flexible hours (approximately 15-20 hours per week)

    PostBaby Bliss Foundation is a startup nonprofit organization committed to supporting families during the postpartum period through mental health resources, family wellness programming, and community support. As a newly formed organization, we are seeking mission-aligned volunteers ready to help build meaningful programs that change lives.

    Position Summary:

    The HR Assistant Manager will support the HR Specialist in maintaining effective human resources operations for the Foundation. This includes assisting with onboarding, volunteer support, personnel tracking, and helping shape the internal culture of the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their experience in nonprofit HR, gain leadership exposure, and be part of something meaningful from the ground up.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and orientation
    • Help maintain personnel files and track volunteer engagement
    • Coordinate internal communications and support team member recognition
    • Provide administrative support for training, compliance, and scheduling
    • Contribute to developing and refining HR systems and policies
    • Support efforts to promote a positive and inclusive team culture

    Ideal Qualifications:

    • Interest or background in HR, nonprofit management, or administration
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Airtable, or HR software (a plus)
    • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
    • Commitment to the mission and values of PostBaby Bliss Foundation
    • Willingness to grow with a startup nonprofit organization
