    Description

If it has been on your heart to become a hospice volunteer, your opportunity is here. Since the hospice volunteer program was put on hold last March 2020, we are now beginning the process of gradually and intentionally reactivating present volunteers, as well as welcoming new volunteers!

    Volunteer opportunities will include:

    • Patient visits (at home or in facility)
    • Comfort in the last hours of life
    • Phone calls
    • Cards/mailings
    • Craft donations

Safety is our #1 priority, so a background check, health history, and extensive training process including orientation will need to be completed before volunteers are allowed to visit patients and their families in their homes or in facilities. As of August 4, 2021, all Aurora employees, including volunteers, are required to be fully vaccinated by October 15, 2021.

Please call the Aurora Health at Home office at 920-288-5107 and ask to be connected with a local Volunteer Coordinator.
