    Description

    Help plan the Great East County Chili Cook-Off! Join Crisis House in planning their biggest fundraiser of the year, held in May 2026! They're looking for energetic, organized volunteers to help with event logistics, recruit chili competitors, reach out to sponsors, and spread the word.

    Volunteers will gain event planning experience, meet great people, and help raise funds for programs supporting people in crisis - all while working on a fun, community-centered event.

    Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

    Time Commitment: 1-2 hours a week

    Desired Skills/Experience: Event planning, marketing, project management, or community organizing.

    Physical Requirements: This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and most of the planning will be digital/virtual.

    The mission of Crisis House is to respond immediately to stop the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness and connect families and individuals to crucial resources that empower them to renew their lives.
