2025 Christmas Meal Kit Giveaway

As with our annual Thanksgiving Meal Kit Giveaway, we will need several Volunteers to help sort, pack and label up to 60 Christmas Meal Kit boxes/bags which will include all the "fixins" for a traditional homemade Christmas meal for needy families in our community.

Meal Kits will include (some items may vary):

1. Frozen half ham butt
2. Brown sugar glaze mix
3. Mashed potatoes mix
4. Brown gravy
5. Canned green beans
6. Cornbread mix
7. Canned pineapple
8. Rolls

We will also need Volunteers who can help deliver these meal kits to the individuals we will have registered to receive them within the Southwest Denver Metro area. This will involve contacting the recipients by phone or email, scheduling a drop off date and time, loading the boxes in personal vehicles and taking the meal kits to the homes for delivery.

Lastly, we will need Volunteers to help with our Stocking Stuffer Giveaway, which will be held in conjunction with the Christmas Meal Kit Giveaway. Volunteers will be needed to help set up and "man" several tables of toys, candy, hygiene products and miscellanea for needy families to have full Christmas stockings.

Volunteers will need to be 18+ to be a driver, they will need to have a current Colorado Drivers License, current motor vehicle registration and current adequate insurance on their vehicle. They will need to sign a waiver of liability and have it on file with Love Bears All, Inc. prior to driving or having a passenger ride along.

Minor Volunteers will need to be accompanied by a parent, a guardian or other legal custodial adult, they will need to have a waiver of liability signed by their parent, guardian or legal custodial adult and have it on file with Love Bears All, Inc. prior to riding along in any vehicle and participating in any physical activity.

This event will be held at the East Community Center in Littleton at 5933 S. Fairfield Street in the Gymnasium (and, perhaps, the Cafeteria, if needed). Please report at 8:00 a.m. on December 20th to Door #1 on the East side of the building if you will be helping with set up for the day. Report at the same door at 10:00 a.m. if you will be doing only the meal kit packing or meal kit delivery - we should be done by 1:00 p.m. Those who will be helping with the stocking stuffer giveaway can show up at 1:00 p.m. for set up for that event and the doors will be open from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for families to partake. A Christmas concert will follow from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Approximately 30 Volunteers will be needed for this day of giving.
