South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We are looking for a volunteer Event Coordinator to by assisting to plan and organize in-person events that engage community members, raise awareness, and further the organization’s mission.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events such as fundraisers, workshops, and community gatherings.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, registration, and follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop event agendas, speakers, and promotional strategies.
- Create event materials such as digital flyers, invitations, and social media posts.
- Serve as a point of contact for event participants, providing clear instructions and timely communication.
- Collect feedback from attendees and assist with event evaluation reports.
- Promote accessibility and inclusivity in all events.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible, remote role
- Estimated 3-5 hours per week
