    Description

    About Us

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC is a grassroots, community interest organisation dedicated to confronting and eradicating Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) within the UK.

We are a movement-led platform giving survivors, communities, and young people the voice and power to speak out, heal, and build systems of protection and accountability.

Through podcasting, live outreach, education, and community action, we work across all communities — Black, white, Asian, Caribbean, and African — to break silence, raise awareness, and rebuild trust from the ground up.

Our CIC operates from a grassroots model — every role begins with real action, community engagement, and collaboration. We believe that change starts with people who care deeply about truth and justice, not titles or salaries.

    Role Description

We are looking for Volunteer Survivor Ambassadors who are passionate about raising awareness, encouraging healing, and building community.

As a Survivor Ambassador, you will help inspire others to share their stories, join our movement, and connect with our programs. This is a supportive, trauma-informed opportunity where your story and insights can help others find strength and safety.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage with survivors, allies, and local organizations to promote CSA awareness and healing.
    • Encourage others to participate in our membership programs, workshops, and podcast.
    • Act as a community representative in online and offline spaces.
    • Help identify and connect potential podcast guests, advocates, or experts.
    • Provide feedback to improve survivor-centered programs.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and virtual events.

    Who You Are

    • A survivor of CSA or someone who has deep understanding or empathy toward survivors.
    • Ready to use your voice, energy, and compassion to help others.
    • Passionate about child protection, awareness, and advocacy.
    • Comfortable speaking with people and sharing information sensitively.
    • Emotionally stable, self-motivated, and a good communicator.
    • No disclosure of personal trauma is required — sharing is always optional.

    What You’ll Gain

    • The opportunity to turn experience into impact and help others find healing.
    • Training, mentorship, and trauma-informed support.
    • Leadership experience in community advocacy, outreach, and survivor empowerment.
    • Access to workshops, retreats, and wellness resources.
    • All volunteer expenses covered (where applicable).
    • A chance to shape national and global conversations about CSA and survivor rights.

    Support & Safety

We operate within a trauma-informed, compassionate environment.

Your emotional wellbeing is our priority — every ambassador receives guidance, peer support, and the option to participate at their own pace.
