Deliver some smiles to homebound individuals who receive nutritious meals through Impact Services, a local meals on wheels program throughout Anoka County. Drivers are needed weekdays at 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM (start time depends on pick up location). Volunteers would pick-up meals and assigned route and deliver to clients. Each route takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
This opportunity is flexible and has multiple locations (Unity, Mercy, Anoka, Lino Lakes and Cedar) to pick-up routes and meals for your convenience. Drivers can serve once a month, once a week or even as a back-up when volunteers have emergencies or are out of town for planned vacations. Drivers are especially needed to deliver routes in Anoka, Coon Rapids or Fridley areas and sub during the Summer months. Currently, there are between 4-15 available routes each day. Volunteers create positivity and community connection when delivering a nutritious meal.
Qualifications: Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and insurance verification.
