    Description

The EmpowerED Initiative is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising awareness about eating disorders and body dysmorphia. We provide direct support through projects like hospital campaigns, recovery library pieces, and hotline forums.

We’re building a marketing team of creative, driven volunteers to help grow TEI's reach and impact online. As a social media manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our mission is shared with the world. This is a remote, flexible position perfect for students or early-career volunteers interested in marketing, communications, or mental health advocacy. You’ll get to practice social media strategy in a real nonprofit setting while making a tangible difference.

Some of your responsibilities will include creating/posting content about TEI's work, volunteer opportunities, and milestones. You'll also engage with our community on social media to further help promote volunteer roles. You will gain real nonprofit marketing experience, community service hours, and be provided templates and instructions for each post (optional for you to use).
