Description
If you are an RN or Certified Dietition you can volunteer to make an impact and change lives as a Nutrition Educator. Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine is looking for a dedicated volunteer 4 hours a week for 3 months who will be:
Evaluating a patient’s nutritional needs.
Providing nutritional counseling and advice to patients.
Creating a clinical nutrition treatment plan for a patient.
Educating the public on nutrition issues.
Researching the effects of nutrition on health and fitness.
Consulting with LVIM providers on nutritional management for patients
