Grant Writer/Research

CHM Bible Theatre is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer/Research to support our fundraising efforts and grant acquisition strategies. The Grant Writer/Research Assistant will work closely with the fund development team members to identify funding opportunities, research potential donors and grant prospects, and prepare compelling grant proposals and applications. This individual will play a key role in helping to secure funding to support our mission and programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sources that align with CHM Bible Theatre's mission and programs.
2. Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of grant prospects, including deadlines, requirements, funding priorities, and contact information.
3. Collaborate with fund development team and leadership to gather information, data, and supporting materials for grant proposals and applications.
4. Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant narratives, proposals, and letters of inquiry that effectively communicate CHM Bible Theatre's mission, programs, and impact.
5. Customize grant applications to meet the specific requirements and preferences of each funding opportunity, ensuring alignment with grant guidelines and criteria.
6. Assist with the preparation of grant budgets, financial statements, and supporting documentation required for grant applications.
7. Track and monitor grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes, providing regular updates to the CEO.
