    Blog Manager

    About Bridginality

Bridginality is a free, global platform connecting homeschooled teens through clubs, leadership, and community. We’re completely youth-run, inclusive, and launching officially in January 2026.

As a Blog Manager, you're part of our Headquarters Team (10–13 members worldwide), a team of people who lead everything behind the scenes — social media, curriculum, writing, outreach, and operations.

This is a remote, collaborative volunteer experience that helps build real-world skills while shaping something meaningful.

All roles are open to homeschooled, online-schooled, or non-traditional students ages 14–18.

This is a volunteer position. Applicants must be homeschooled, virtually schooled, or in a non-traditional learning environment.

    Summary

The Blog Manager helps maintain Bridginality’s storytelling voice — the creative heart of our platform. You’ll write, edit, and coordinate posts that explore creativity, mental health, civic engagement, and youth identity.

Bridginality’s blog is divided into our four club categories (STEM-Focused, Creative & Cultural, Civic & Intellectual, and Innovation & Life Skills). You’ll work closely with Club presidents — especially our Op-Ed Journalism Club — to ensure each section stays current with club news, updates, and themed pieces.

Success in this role means keeping our blog consistent, reflective, and deeply connected to what our members are doing across the platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Write blog posts and features for Bridginality’s website
    • Edit peer submissions for tone, structure, and clarity
    • Coordinate regularly with club presidents to highlight updates, projects, and features from their club categories
    • Oversee the four blog sections, ensuring each reflects ongoing club activity
    • Collaborate with the Op-Ed Journalism Club on civic and intellectual articles
    • Partner with the Social Media team for cross-platform storytelling
    • Maintain consistent posting schedules and content accuracy

    Requirements

    • Must be homeschooled or current enrolled in any non-traditional schooling program (This includes Virtual Schooling or Hybrid Schooling)
    • Must be 14-18 years of age

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Interest in youth culture, identity, or storytelling
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive communicator
    • Experience with blogs, journalism, or editing highly encouraged but not required
    • Familiarity with Google Docs, Square space Blog UI, and collaborative writing tools

    Additional Details

    • Volunteer Term: Late Nov/Dec 2025 – June 2026
    • Time Commitment: 3–5 hours/week
