    Description

Throughout the year, the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) prepares and delivers meals to homebound members of our community. Volunteers pick up meals from CPC’s Open Door Older Adult Center, located at 168 Grand Street, and deliver them on foot to homebound community members in the surrounding neighborhood. Volunteers are expected to deliver meals at least once a week during weekday afternoons and commit to a minimum six-month volunteer term.

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

All volunteers must apply to become a CPC volunteer and attend an orientation before volunteering. Orientations are offered monthly; if you are unable to attend, you may contact us to schedule a time to speak. Volunteer opportunities are shared via email with all volunteers who have completed the orientation.
