Our building at 701 Main Street where costumes will be prepared has no elevator, but there is a rear entrance/ramp to the upper level (where the costume shop is located) if stairs are a problem. The historic Academy Theatre is fully accessible.
Description
Costume volunteers needed at Opera on the James! "Madame Butterfly" is a REALLY big show with LOTS and LOTS of costumes! Come help us get our people dressed for this spectacular production of "Madame Butterfly" that will open at the Academy’s Historic Theatre November 7 and 9. Whether you’re an experienced stitcher or can lend a pair of hands and a strong back for organizing, steaming, hanging and fitting costumes-or anywhere in between-come help our brilliant costume team pull it all together to make some theatre magic!
