    Altrusa International of Southern CA Virtual Club is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven individual to serve as Treasurer on our Board of Directors. This is a meaningful opportunity to help steward our financial health while supporting service projects that uplift families, students, and educators across Southern California and Baja California.

    As Treasurer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and sustainability for our virtual club’s operations. You’ll collaborate with fellow board members to shape strategic decisions and support initiatives that make a real difference—whether it’s organizing service events and fundraisers or mentoring emerging leaders.

    📌 Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records using cash-basis accounting and oversee budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation
    • Present financial updates at monthly club meetings (held virtually)
    • Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial practices and support annual filings
    • Collaborate on fundraising strategies and grant tracking
    • Serve a one-year renewable term as an active member of the Board of Directors

    • Background in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or nonprofit administration
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, Google Workspace)
    • Passionate about community service, education, and equity
    • Located in or connected to Southern California
    • Willing to invest in becoming a member of our Altrusa Club
