Event Volunteer

We’re looking for friendly, dependable, dog-loving volunteers to help plan and support Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue’s fundraising events throughout the year. You don’t need professional experience—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a desire to help dogs get the second chance they deserve.

What you will do:

• Assist with event planning and logistics
• Help secure donations
• Create or distribute flyers and posts for social media
• Coordinate supplies (tables, banners, signs, dogs’ accessories, etc.)
• Help set up and break down event spaces
• Greet attendees and share information about AAHA
• Support foster dogs attending the event
• Assist with registration tables, check-ins, or donation tracking

What We’re Looking For

• Kind, reliable volunteers who enjoy helping others
• Comfort working with or near dogs (experience helpful but not required)
• Ability to stand/walk during events (accommodations available)
• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Flexibility to help at occasional evenings or weekend events
