    Description

    Volunteer Grant Writer

    Are you a skilled writer who aligns with our mission to improve community-based healthcare access by supporting efforts that promote the sustainability and growth of independent community pharmacists? We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team as a Grant Writer. Your talent for crafting compelling narratives and your ability to research funding opportunities will be instrumental in securing the resources needed to further our mission.

    As a Grant Writer, you will play a critical role in identifying, researching, and writing grant proposals. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our organization by securing funding for essential programs and services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization's goals and priorities.
    • Develop compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation.
    • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
    • Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.
    • Assist with grant reporting and stewardship activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling narratives.
    • Excellent research and analytical skills.
    • Experience with grant writing and proposal development preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Passion for our work.

    Commitment:

    • 5-10 hours/week
