    Description

    Volunteer Social Media Coordinator

Shape Our Voice. Share the Mission. Build a Creative Community.

Just a heads up ---> This is a virtual role based in South Florida. While there's no official office, we do ask that you're available to participate in local events and stay connected with the community. Because of this, we're only considering applicants who are local to the South Florida area.

Just Add Creative, a Lake Worth Beach-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

We distribute free craft kits to underserved communities and spotlight local artists through interviews, events, and creative partnerships. Your role is to share that story consistently, clearly, and with heart.

    What You’ll Do

    • Post at least twice per month on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Create engaging captions and visuals using content from the team (or your own event photos)
    • Attend select in-person events to gather content (estimated once monthly or quarterly)
    • Share event announcements, recaps, artist highlights, and behind-the-scenes moments
    • Use tools like Canva or Meta Business Suite to schedule and polish posts
    • Maintain a consistent, mission-aligned tone across all platforms
    • Optional: Monitor basic performance and offer creative input on improving reach and engagement

    Time Commitment

    • 4-6 hours/month, including occasional event attendance
    • Most tasks can be done remotely and on your own schedule
    • Flexible around campaigns or event-heavy months

    Training & Expectations

    • Must complete a brief onboarding to learn our mission, branding, and messaging
    • Must reliably maintain the posting schedule and collaborate clearly with the team
    • Must complete a short interview with the President and Volunteer Coordinator before placement

You’re a Strong Fit If You:

    • Have experience using Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn effectively
    • Can write clean, mission-driven captions and select visual content that fits our vibe
    • Are reliable, organized, and proactive in communication
    • Bonus: You’ve used Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling/design tools
    • Bonus: You enjoy events and talking with community members to capture moments

    Community Connection

You’ll be invited to attend quarterly board meetings as a non-voting participant to stay plugged into our strategy and storytelling pipeline. Your content will help set the tone for how the world sees us.

    Why It Matters

Your work helps us connect with new donors, spotlight community artists, and inspire creativity where it’s needed most. You won’t just be posting-you’ll be helping build a stronger, more vibrant Lake Worth Beach.

    Ready to Apply?

Email us at: info@justaddcreative.org and we’ll schedule a short interview with our President and Volunteer Coordinator.
