    Description

    We are currently recruiting student Chapter Founders to lead local literacy and language-access initiatives within their own school or community. This opportunity is especially well-suited for internationally minded activists who are interested in service, leadership, and education. Founders are not required to have any previous nonprofit experience. Chapter Founders will receive training, curriculum resources, and ongoing mentorship from the global team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and lead a local Books Beyond Limits chapter at your school or in your community
    • Recruit and manage chapter members or volunteers
    • Plan and execute literacy-focused initiatives (book drives, bilingual reading events, tutoring, workshops, etc.)
    • Serve as a liaison between your local chapter and the global organization
    • Promote chapter activities through outreach and social media
    • Track activities and impact (events held, books collected/donated, participants reached)
    • Uphold the mission, values, and branding of Books Beyond Limits
