    Volunteer – Marketing & Social Media Support

    Position: Volunteer – Marketing & Social Media Support

    Location: Remote (with optional in-office hours at Berthoud Habitat for Humanity)

    Role Overview

    Berthoud Habitat for Humanity is seeking a creative and reliable volunteer to support our marketing efforts by helping create social media posts that share our impact, engage the community, and support our mission of building safe, affordable homes.

    This is a flexible, remote-friendly role, ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling and wants to use their skills to make a meaningful local impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create social media graphics and posts using Canva
    • Support scheduled content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
    • Follow brand guidelines and messaging provided by staff
    • Collaborate with staff to highlight events, volunteer opportunities, ReStore promotions, and community impact
    • Make light edits or updates based on feedback
    • Assist with additional marketing tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    • Access to a computer and reliable Wi-Fi
    • Comfortable using Canva
    • Basic understanding of social media platforms
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
    • Interest in nonprofit marketing, communications, or design is a plus

    Time Commitment

    • 1–2 hours per week, depending on demand
    • Flexible schedule
    • Optional in-office workspace available during business hours:
    • Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
