Transport Clients Safely Drive children, families, or staff to and from programs, events, or appointmentsâensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection Conduct routine checks (tires, brakes, lights, fuel) and report any issues. Keep the vehicle clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports. Ensure all driving complies with local laws and organizational policies.
Client Assistance Help passengers enter/exit vehicles, especially children or individuals with disabilities. Ensure seatbelt use and proper child restraints.
Emergency Preparedness Know how to respond to accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies. Follow the nonprofitâs incident response plan.
