    Core Responsibilities

    • Transport Clients Safely Drive children, families, or staff to and from programs, events, or appointments—ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
    • Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection Conduct routine checks (tires, brakes, lights, fuel) and report any issues. Keep the vehicle clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
    • Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports. Ensure all driving complies with local laws and organizational policies.
    • Client Assistance Help passengers enter/exit vehicles, especially children or individuals with disabilities. Ensure seatbelt use and proper child restraints.
    • Emergency Preparedness Know how to respond to accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies. Follow the nonprofit’s incident response plan.
