    Description

    Are you a Veteran? Be a companion to a Veteran hospice patient [Hillsborough].

    Our Veteran-to-Veteran program in Hillsborough County pairs veteran volunteers with veteran patients who are in hospice care. Your experience in the service gives you a unique understanding of the comradery between Veterans. You also understand our veteran patients' preference to spend time with someone who has also served.

    We are seeking volunteers to provide companionship or respite visits and assist with pinning ceremonies for veterans in hospice.

    Training, TB test, and Level 2 background checks are required and paid by Gulfside Healthcare Services.
