    Job Description: Program Development Coordinator

    Position Summary

    The Program Development Coordinator supports the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that advance the organization’s mission. This role coordinates program activities, assists with resource development, manages timelines, and ensures effective communication between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving impact through innovative and well-executed programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the design and development of new programs, initiatives, and services.
    • Coordinate program activities, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
    • Support grant writing, proposal development, and reporting to funders.
    • Conduct research to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for program growth.
    • Track program performance metrics and assist in preparing evaluation reports.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, databases, and program files.
    • Facilitate communication among staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
    • Assist with organizing events, workshops, or training sessions related to programs.
    • Monitor budgets and expenditures, supporting financial accountability.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
    • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or nonprofit program development.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with grant writing, reporting, and donor engagement preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse, team-oriented environments.
