    Volunteer Opportunity – RED SHIELD Monthly Community Pantry - The Salvation Army

    The monthly RED SHIELD program at The Salvation Army is our largest monthly outreach and a powerful way for groups and individuals to serve the community together.

    This event is perfect for large groups, individuals, students, and families who are looking to give just a few hours and make a meaningful impact.

    When:

    🕗 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM

    📅 2nd Wednesday of each month

    During RED SHIELD, volunteers help prepare and distribute 200 or more carts of free groceries to families in need. By the time volunteers arrive at 8:00 AM, cars are already lined up 30–40 vehicles deep, highlighting the tremendous need in our community.
