    👩‍💻 Volunteer Opportunity: Coding & Technology Education

    Are you passionate about tech, education, and making a social impact? Join our Coding Kuska and Think Yachaq programs, where you’ll help empower students through hands-on learning in programming, robotics, and more!

    🌟 About the Program

    Coding Kuska introduces students to technology through dynamic workshops on computational thinking and Scratch, linking tech skills to everyday and academic themes. The program culminates in students developing their own personal tech projects based on their interests.

    • Currently moving into Phase 2: Robotics
    • 16 students and 4 trained local teachers
    • Engaged, curious learners ready to expand their skills!

    Think Yachaq is the continuation of Coding Kuska for youth aged 13 to 17, developed in partnership with local universities. Its long-term goal: foster economic opportunities through technology.

    • Classes held at Universidad CatĂłlica de Santa MarĂ­a
    • 20 students + university staff involved
    • Next stage: 3D printing and fabrication

    🔎 What We’re Looking For:

    We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about education, technology, and social impact. Ideal candidates will have:

    • Volunteers with experience or interest in coding, Scratch, Arduino, or 3D printing
    • A creative, patient, and team-oriented spirit
    • Medium Spanish proficiency (recommended to facilitate classroom support)
    • A minimum commitment of 1 month (but we predict you’ll stay longer!)

    ✅ To Join Us, You’ll Need:

    • A CV, reference letter, and criminal background check (to confirm your application)
    • A flight confirmation (to confirm your participation)
    • Good news: There’s no fee! We don’t charge any volunteer or application fees.
