Help out with one of Marillac St. Vincent's most lively and FUN fundraising events of the year: the Associate Board’s annual House of Cards Casino Night!
House of Cards will be held at The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel, 171 W. Randolph St., on Thursday, February 5th from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Volunteers will serve from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Deadline to sign up is Monday 2/03!
Some brief FYIs:
- Volunteers will staff the gaming tables (Craps, Roulette, Blackjack) from 7:00-10:00 p.m. with a one hour break in the middle of the evening. (The Associate Board members step up to run the tables from approximately 8:30-9:30.)
- Training will begin at 5:30 p.m. Please note: All volunteers must attend the training with the casino-company staff to learn the gaming rules and procedures.
- Attire is dressed-up/cocktail attire, black-and-white-themed, no jeans/sweats, please! You’ll be standing most of the evening, so comfortable shoes are strongly recommended. (dark-colored, stylish sneakers are welcome and encouraged!)
- Because this is a gaming event, all volunteers must be 21+ years of age. (Proof required at event)
- All volunteers will receive complimentary chips for gaming (when on a break) and one complimentary raffle ticket!
