    Description

    Help keep our community safe while guiding our finances.

    Capital Area Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit that partners with law enforcement and the public to solve crimes through anonymous tips and community rewards. We’re looking for a volunteer Treasurer to join our board and oversee basic financial management.

    What You’ll Do

    • Track income, expenses, and bank activity
    • Prepare simple monthly financial reports
    • Support budgeting and grant reporting
    • Ensure compliance with nonprofit requirements

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance
    • Organized and reliable
    • Familiar with QuickBooks or Excel (or willing to learn)
    • Committed to integrity and community service
