    Volunteer Role Overview

    Sneaker Ball volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and mission-driven experience for all guests, partners, and vendors.

    Volunteers will be assigned to specific event stations based on interest, availability, and event needs. Training and guidance will be provided prior to the event.

    Whether this is your first time volunteering or you’re a seasoned advocate, we’ll make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

    Volunteer Stations & Responsibilities

    • Arrange tables and chairs
    • Place table decorations and materials
    • Assist with pre-event setup
    • Support cleanup and breakdown

    • Welcome guests warmly
    • Confirm names and tickets/QR codes
    • Distribute DFGG brochures
    • Assist with QR codes for:
      • Dance waivers
      • Event registration
      • Website access

    πŸ’¬ Guest Engagement & Outreach Station

    • Mingle with guests and share the mission of DFGG
    • Answer basic questions
    • Encourage participation in event activities
    • Promote donation opportunities
    • Help ensure guests feel welcomed and supported

    • Guide guests to donation stations
    • Explain donation impact
    • Promote digital giving (CashApp, Zelle, Apple Pay)

    πŸͺ Vendor Support & Coordination Station

    • Check in with vendors
    • Assist with setup needs
    • Provide event information
    • Communicate concerns to leadership

    • Must attend brief volunteer orientation
