    Description

Techies needed to support Computer Center for the homeless

Our Manhattan based organization is seeking a cohort of approximately 5 tech savvy volunteers who would work in our computer center with our team leader to assist the homeless population we serve by providing the homeless guests computer access. The tech volunteer will also be needed to support computer access for the social services team. Our hours of operation are every Saturday from 8 AM to 3:00PM and we are located at 137 East Second Street, (at Avenue A in Manhattan) at the Cardinal Spellman Center (lower level). 2nd Avenue stop on the F train. Our space is equipped with wireless Internet, computers and printers and a full supply of stationary for volunteers to assist our guests. All volunteers would have a tremendous amount of staff support. Please have the interested parties contact Joe Montano, Director at 347-534-7792 or through email at director@meatloafkitchen.org.
