    Information:

Hope Communities, a nonprofit providing support and affordable housing to intersectional communities across the Denver area, often distributes bags as a treat to senior residents who often get overlooked. We need volunteers year-round to put together some fun activities and treats for seniors. Build a senior bag individually or in groups.

Here are some suggestions for items to include:

    • Hardy candy
    • Gum
    • Tissues
    • Magnifier
    • Lip balm
    • Jar opener (always a hit!)
    • Word search/puzzle books
    • Lotion
    • Toothbrush and toothpaste
    • Soap or body wash
    • Other hygiene products

Plus anything else you can think of! Please pack your items in a reusable shopping bag. You can make as many gift bags as you would like! For questions or to coordinate drop off, please email volunteer@hopecommunities.org.
