    Description

    Tour Guide - Museum of York County

    Reporting to the Program Manager, volunteers assist with weekday school programs and tours for students and adults. Duties might include leading school programs and engaging museum visitors in informal learning opportunities in the galleries or on site. You do not have to lead a tour. Volunteers are needed to assist staff.

    The goal of this position is to provide children and adult groups with a meaningful and educational experience. The ideal candidate would be energetic and outgoing with a love of science, nature, or natural history, and be comfortable speaking to groups of children and adults.

    Suggested time commitment: two - four days a month. (shifts are 3-4 hours)

    No experience needed - we will train you.
